I am a trained Detective looking for my next role in HR, where I can put my people and investigation skills to work.
I’m a people-focused HR professional looking for my next role in HR. I have an inquisitive, caring nature, and I enjoy building AI solutions. I graduated in Biology in 2020 from the University of Bristol with a 2:1, trained in data science, and joined the Metropolitan Police Service as a Detective Constable.
In that role, I led up to 30 serious and complex investigations at a time, interviewing victims and suspects and protecting vulnerable people from harm. Faced with challenging situations daily, I adapted quickly, stepped up to safeguard victims and built strong cases on their behalf that stood up to scrutiny in court. I worked closely with partner agencies, including local authorities, social services, healthcare professionals, educators and the Crown Prosecution Service, fostering collaboration to achieve positive action.
Since moving into the People Practice, I have upskilled in HR, project management and AI. I am now a Learning and Development team leader at Quilombo UK, where I manage the team, deliver training and run the onboarding process for new starters.
Alongside my CIPD studies, I build small HR apps with AI and data skills (Python, SQL and generative AI) to take the busywork out of recruitment, reward, analytics and employee relations. You can try them below.
I’m now looking for an HR role where I can bring together my investigation background, my Learning and Development experience and my data skills. If you’re hiring, I’d love to hear from you: get in touch.
Away from work, I have a keen interest in all things nerdy. I’m a qualified scuba diver and enjoy boardgames, volunteering, travel, technology, pottery, nature and science.
HR teams lose hours to repetitive admin. I built these apps to show how data and AI can take care of the busywork, so people professionals have more time for the human side of the job. Each one is a working demo with made-up example data.
